🎄 Holiday Morning-After Sausage & Gravy Biscuit Stack

A cozy, comforting breakfast made for the day after holiday fun. Flaky biscuits, creamy sage-kissed sausage gravy, and a perfectly fried egg make this the ultimate relaxed morning plate.

🥘 Ingredients

Biscuits
• 1 can Grands biscuits

Sausage Gravy
• 1 lb Bob Evans original sausage
• ¼–½ tsp ground sage (to taste)
• 3–4 tbsp flour
• 2–2½ cups milk (start with 2 and add more for thickness)
• 1–2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
• Salt & black pepper, to taste

Finishing
• Fried eggs
• Chives, chopped


👩‍🍳 Directions

Bake Biscuits

  1. Bake Grands according to package directions and keep warm.

Make Sausage Gravy

  1. In a large skillet, brown the Bob Evans sausage over medium heat, breaking it apart.
  2. Stir in ground sage and cook 1 more minute.
  3. Sprinkle flour over sausage and stir until coated (30–60 seconds).
  4. Slowly pour in milk while whisking.
  5. Add Worcestershire, salt, and pepper.
  6. Simmer 5–7 minutes until thickened (add a splash of milk if too thick).

Fry Eggs

  1. In a separate skillet, fry eggs over medium heat until whites set and yolk is still runny.

Assemble

  1. Split warm biscuits and spoon generous gravy over top.
  2. Add fried egg and finish with chopped chives.
  3. Serve immediately and enjoy your cozy recovery morning!

  7. Add Worcestershire, salt, and pepper.
  8. Simmer 5–7 minutes, adjusting milk as needed for thickness.
  9. Fry eggs in a separate skillet to your preference (I like sunny-side-up).
  10. Split biscuits, spoon gravy over each one, and top with fried egg.
  11. Garnish with chopped chives and serve immediately.
