Juicy, oven-baked pork chops smothered in a rich, creamy garlic parmesan sauce—this is the kind of comfort dinner that feels restaurant-worthy but comes together effortlessly at home. Each bite is tender, flavorful, and coated in a velvety sauce that’s perfect spooned over potatoes or pasta.

Ingredients

  • 🛒 Ingredients
  • 4 pork chops boneless or bone-in, about 1 inch thick
  • Salt + pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Sauce:
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard optional but SO good

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F
  2. Season pork chops
  3. Salt, pepper, garlic powder, Italian seasoning
  4. Quick sear (don’t skip this!)
  5. Heat olive oil in skillet
  6. Sear chops 2–3 min per side (just to get color)
  7. Make sauce
  8. In same pan → add garlic, cook 30 sec
  9. Stir in cream, broth, parmesan, Dijon
  10. Let it slightly thicken (2–3 min)
  11. Bake
  12. Place pork chops in baking dish
  13. Pour sauce over top
  14. Bake 25–30 minutes
  15. Finish
  16. Spoon sauce over chops before serving

Notes

  • Use thicker chops → way juicier
  • Don’t overbake → pull around 145°F internal temp
  • Let them rest 5 minutes before serving
  • Add a little mozzarella on top last 5 minutes for a cheesy crust 🤌
