This Italian chopped salad is inspired by those cozy, family-style restaurant salads we all love—simple, vibrant, and packed with flavor. With crisp romaine, tangy pepperoncini, briny olives, and a bright homemade dressing, it’s the kind of salad you’ll find yourself making on repeat (and craving all week long).

For the Salad:

  • 2–3 hearts romaine lettuce, chopped (well chilled)
  • ½ cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • ÂĽ cup thinly sliced red onion
  • ½ cup black olives, sliced
  • ÂĽ cup pepperoncini peppers, sliced
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

For the Dressing:

  • ½ cup olive oil
  • 3 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 clove garlic, finely minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ÂĽ tsp black pepper

  1. In a large bowl, combine romaine, tomatoes, red onion, olives, and pepperoncini.
  2. In a jar, shake together all dressing ingredients until well combined.
  3. Drizzle dressing over salad just before serving and toss lightly.
  4. Top with grated Parmesan and serve immediately.
